Girl to boyfriend, “What’s goat cheese? Is it the cheese that’s on my sandwich?”
“No, you have mozzarella on your sandwich.”
Can you hear me wincing in pain yet?! Somewhere in the world, cheese connoisseurs are screaming.
What makes it even more painful was that I think that they were college students, ie Stanford, because the boyfriend was telling his cheese-ignorant-girlfriend that back in his high school days he would get sandwiches at the The Cheese Shop (a sandwich/specialty grocery shop in the same lil’ shopping center) and put them on his dad’s tab. Which prompted girl to ask, “What’s a tab?”
Ugghh…I give up.
