(A day late, sorry!)

So, I’ve made it…I’ve completed six weeks of the C25k program!

If someone had told me that, in 6 weeks, I’d be running/jogging for 25 minutes straight – I’d laugh my own arse off.

But that 6 weeks was yesterday, and I did run/jog for 25 minutes straight and felt good. (Once I can get time of the run down, I’ll work on distance…)

The other night, knowing I had this workout coming up, I trimmed my playlist to help ensure that I’d complete the run:

Seven Nation Army – The White Stripes
Don’t Stop the Music – Rihanna
Into the Hollywood Groove – Madonna f/Missy Elliot
Sexyback – Justin Timberlake f/Timbaland
Kill the Lights – Britney Spears
Let’s Get It Started – The Black Eyed Peas
Mr. Brightside – The Killers
Carry Out – Timbaland f/Justin Timberlake

Some of it is old, some of it new – but these usually are my go-to-artists.

After 6 weeks of various playlists, I’ve come to decide that my walk-up song – you know, the song that plays when a baseball player comes up to bat? – is Fighter by Christina Aguilera. The lyrics are enough to keep me going.

What are your go-to tunes? Any recommendations?

    I always feel like movin a little faster to Maneater by Nellie Fertado and Gwen (both No Doubt & Solo) always has some great go to’s for me – keep it up mama!
