Do not run after black “cats” with white stripes on their back or you will end up stinky, somewhat pink (she got sprayed around 11p last night, so we doused her in tomato juice to fend off the odors until i could make a trip to petco), and be doused again with nature’s miracle skunk odor remover.
Well, the halloween party was mad crazy! There were SO many babies there it was insane – the PacHts mommies wanting to get their halloween portraits of their little ones (it was about an 80-minute wait, so we passed). I must say though, if there was a contest, Mads would have won hands down, as so many people came up to us and told us what a cute costume she had on!

Halloween – revisited
I forgot to mention that we had gone to the pumpkin patch a few weekends ago. We met our friends Deb & Joseph and their two boys and spent the late afternoon, riding the “train”, watching the boys (all of the boys) slide down the inflatable slide and partaking in pumpkin pie. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the memo that you were supposed to dress up your baby before going to the pumpkin patch. I think that Mads was the only baby that was not in costume. Oh well, there’s always next year, right?
I didn’t pass out candy this year because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to juggle Mads, Lucie and candy duty…besides, for being such a family-friendly neighborhood, there aren’t very many trick-or-treaters in our part of Miraloma Park.
Toxic and Sexyback on the radio?!
There’s a new radio station in town and I swear it was created just for me! They play the current dance hits…and the dance hits of yesteryear…No Diggity, Poison (by Bel Biv Devoe – are we kidding?!), even SWV (Sistahs with Voices – remember them?) to name a few…S is probably sick of me telling him everytime that the music they play takes me back to the good ol grammar school / high school days. I love it!
