Lately, the only thing that makes coming into work pleasant is the smell of the jasmine plants that surround the building I work in. I love the spring / summer when they’ve bloomed and have released their sweet & pleasant fragrance. Can you tell I love the smell of jasmine? Too bad, you cannot send scents over the internet. I’m sure in due time, though.
Speaking of little things, check out this “house” for sale on the peninsula. But check it out soon before it gets snatched off the market!
So, yes, we were house hunting this past Sunday. We found a lovely home, newly rebuilt (which defeated our “we can always renovate & remodel & redecorate” purpose), nice hwd floors, jacuzzi tubs in both bathrooms and a walk-in closet to absolutely DIE for! If it was so perfect why didn’t you make an offer, one might ask. Well, for starters, it had a lovely view of Hwy 280 and was situated right above the housing projects (where a teenager was shot a few years back). So yeah…the search continues. As my dear friend Gina put it, “we’re going to need to downgrade to upgrade.”
Craig & Yoli’s wedding was this past Saturday. Beautiful ceremony at St. Paul’s Church in Noe Valley and fun reception at The Green Room at Herbst Theatre. There were mariachis and her sister, Lucy, and her b-friend danced a little folklorico. I think it’s such a nice touch to receptions to add something personal & cultural to it. It just makes the event much more special. And…there were even a few greek dances in the mix (Craig is half Greek) – how fun is that?! Oppah!
