So, today was our interview at INS to (somewhat) complete the green card process for Sylvain.
All last night I was envisioning some sort of tortuous version of The Newlywed Game. Alas, another urban legend. The simplest questions were asked and answered. The INS officer didn’t even want to keep the photocopied photos of our weddings and honeymoon – after all that time I stood in front of the copier. Oh well…
By the way, yes, he is a provisional permanent resident now – we have to check back in two years. He’d better behave. ;o)
